This is a new goat cheese. In fact it's a real new goat cheese, it was launched on the market only August 1st 2015.
It is produced in Charente Maritime, a region where goat cheese is everywhere and the must known is the Chabichou.
The originality of this cheese is its shape: a dome.
Its pate is white and getting ivory when maturation lasts, although its rind is very thin, its goaty flavor is getting stronger when maturation last.
The perfect pairing for this cheese: Vouvray dry (chenin grape)
