The Ovalie cheese is a recent creation and comes from the Correze area of France that is known for its cattle farms and not ewe herds. An enterprising local farmer has cleared some wooded land to allow ewe to graze. From their milk he produces a delicate and tasty ewe cheeses. The Ovalie long form is original. In a country were the rugby is king the ovalie has made a reputation of being an excellent representative for the region. The creamy taste of the Ovalie is seductive.
